This is a large sized food-safe utility bowl. After use, wash it with a mild dishwashing solution, rinse it and dry it. Apply a liberal amount of mineral oil or walnut oil (let it absorb as much as it will take) and wipe off the excess. Do not use vegetable oil or olive oil as the will turn rancid. Never put any wooden bowl in the dish washer.
